Moms' Favorite Fun Spots in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is known for adult entertainment, but one of the city's best kept secrets is its family-friendly side that surprises many newcomers.

When moving to Vegas, many parents may cringe at the thought of raising their children in the so-called "Sin City" or the alleged "Land of Flash and Trash."  But upon arrival, many are shocked to find immaculate parks decorating dozens of street corners around town and businesses galore seem to be begging to entertain your kids.

THE CAROUSEL - Nevada's fanciest carousel dresses up The District in Henderson.  From an elephant to a frog, your child can be swept away into a fantastical three-minute ride on his or her choice of 32 majestic animals.  Just $2/ride. CHILDS' PLAY - While Mom and Dad enjoy a free cup of coffee, kids of all ages can burn off some energy at Childs' Play.  This indoor play space comes complete with large play structures, a tiny tots area, small basketball court, and even an interactive, moving wall mural.  First visit is $10/child - socks required.  (702) 722-6041 7260 S.
